What better way to come together as a team than by jumping into near-freezing water? Our crew—alongside a few brave family members and close business partners—took the Polar Bear Plunge to raise money for The Place of Georgia, a local nonprofit doing meaningful work to support families in need right here in our community.
This was our first time participating in the event, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable (or colder!) experience. In fact, we were told it was the coldest water temperature in the event’s history—talk about commitment! Thanks to the generosity of our business contacts, friends, and supporters, we were able to raise just over $5,000 for The Place. We were proud to present the donation when their team visited our office to pick up the check.
Community involvement has become a growing part of our company culture, and events like this remind us how important—and fun—it can be to give back. We’re already looking forward to next year’s plunge!
